Amy Smart, an American model, actress and actor. She was born in California USA, Amy Smart started her modeling career in California. She began her acting career at the age of 16 in The TV production Her Costly Affair. From there to starring in a small role in the film Starship Troopers she struggled very hard. Amy was unable to make the switch from modeling to acting since models are not usually considered good actors. They are usually given smaller roles that aren't important. But somehow Amy did not give up and transitioned to bigger roles eventually starting with the TV series The 70s and the film Varsity Blues. Amy then moved into leading parts in 2005's love story Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. Amy achieved the fame she'd been seeking for over 10 years after her film called Just Friends came out. She went on doing some significant films like the Crank series starring Jason Statham and the series Shameless in which she was an adored recurring character.
