Amy Smart, an American model, actress and actor. Born in California USA, Amy Smart began her modelling career there. Her acting debut came at the age of 16 in her debut in the TV film Her Costly Affair. Her fight to secure the role on Starship Troopers, a film that featured mostly minor roles, was very intense. Amy had a difficult time making the leap from modeling into acting because model actors aren't generally considered to be actors of any kind. They're often given small or unimportant roles.
