Samantha Mohr was born on 13 September 1961 located in Columbus, Georgia. Virgo is her zodiac sign. Mohr, an American who has a white background and an American passport, has American nationality. Her early life, parents and siblings are not publicly known. Mohr has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in speech pathology with a minor in audiology from the University of Georgia. Mohr was also a student at an undergraduate program at University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. Mohr received her bachelor of Arts in meteorology broadcasting from the University of Georgia in 1989. Following the suggestion of another UGA student, Mohr started working in the glitzy industry when she was 24. She won Miss Columbus 1985, kissing her crown following the victory over all of the other contestants. Her victory qualified for her to participate in Miss Georgia. Miss Georgia contest in June 1985. On Saturday, June 22nd, 1985 she also won the competition. Mohr, after winning the competition, then went on to represent Georgia as Miss America 1986 in Atlantic City in New Jersey in September of 1985. She was, however, not among the top 10 finalists for the national title.
