Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny on February 3, 1950) is an American actress from America. Her fame grew from the end of the 1970s and mid-80s, when she was featured in numerous television shows that typically featured a glamourous look. Fairchild was first noticed in her role on the CBS daytime soap opera Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace between 1973 and 1977. Fairchild made her debut in 1973, playing Jennifer Pace on CBS's daytime soap search for tomorrow. She portrayed Jenna Wade for the first time in 1978. Following that she was cast in the lead role in NBC's Flamingo Road. (For this show, she was awarded an Golden Globe Award nominated Best Actress in a Television Series - Drama. In 1984 she costarred in ABC's short-lived primetime soap Paper Dolls. From 1985 through 1986, she played attorney Jordan Roberts on Falcon Crest. Fairchild was also seen in the theatre, as well as playing guest roles on TV programs like Murphy Brown and Roseanne Cybill. Lawson was brought up in Louisville, Kentucky by her mother who is a homemaker and father who works as a manager of hotels. She has always been attracted to acting. Lawson began performing in community theater shows at the age of eight. She was a graduate of the Catholic girls' only high school. Maggie Lawson was only eight when she started acting in stage productions. When she was in Los Angeles she moved for her first television pilot at fifteen years old. At the age of 15, she relocated to Los Angeles for her first television pilot.
